Suzanne Schuelke is a past president of ARMA Detroit and a former instructor of Records Management at Wayne State University. She is also a fully licensed attorney with more than ten years litigation experience. She is currently a Human Resources Consultant for SungardSCT. In her three years with the company she has worked in 14 states and eight countries.
Admissibility of Records in the Digital Age
As the management of information progresses into the digital age and global environment, the challenge of admissibility becomes greater.
The presentation will provide you with some do's and dont's concerning electronic records. Suzanne's speech will provide an overview of e-discovery, the foundational requirements for the admissibility of electronic records, practical concerns in formulating record retentions policies for electronic records. She will also give a brief overview of the proposed Amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Evidence dealing with electronic evidence.
